Beppu - 別府


When we arrived at Beppu that day we were very lucky to catch the last train running before the next typhoon. The following day, there was no train running in whole Kyushu! At 09/07 we stayed at our youth hostel the whole day because of the typhoon. But there have been more people who could not leave Beppu. Unfortunately, Artus had to go home at 09/08.
Beppu - THE city of hot springs in Japan. Almost every house has its own hot bath (onsen). Moreover, there are the Jigokus, i.e. hot springs coloured by minerals. We enjoyed a lot of those hot springs...
