Kyoto - 京都

That morning, I arrived very early at Kyoto. In this city, there are more than 2000 temples and shrines. But I could only visit few of these, in particular Heian-jingu, Ginkaku-ji and Kinkaku-ji. This one was the most impressive. About 134 kgs of gold cover its walls. Moreover, I could enter Nijo-jo. This castle was the official residence of the first Tokugawa Shogun. Unfortunately, I must not take any pictures inside the castle. The castles in Osaka and Nagoya may be more interesting from outside, but Nijo-jo is much more interesting inside!!
